To become a member of the Washoe County Medical Reserve Corps, please log on to www.mrcnevada.com and click on the "Washoe County" logo to submit an electronic application. Also, please note that all applicants must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
  
• Complete the online application or contact our office at (775) 328-6111 to request and submit a hard copy application
  
• Consent to a background check
  
• Pass the background check

• Attend a 1-hour orientation
  
• Have current vaccinations for, or immunity to :  1) measles, mumps and rubella; 2) varicella (chickenpox); 3) tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis; and 4) influenza  (If needed, vaccinations will be provided to the volunteer upon completion of orientation.)
