CPR and First Aid classes  
The Washoe County MRC unit offers free CPR/First Aid classes every month in the Central Conference Room, Bldg. "C" at the County Complex, 1001 E. 9th St., Reno, as follows:
-- No classes scheduled for the summer of 2010. Classes should resume in the fall.

Volunteer Orientation 
Our next volunteer orientation session is scheduled for Tuesday evening, July 20, from 6 to 7 PM. The class will be held at the Washoe County Complex located at 1001 E. 9th St., in the Central Conference Room located in building "C." Core Disaster Life Support
This course is highly recommended for MRC volunteers and offers free CMEs and CEUs. 
The AMA and National Disaster Life Support Foundation, Inc. announce the release of a new Electronic Core Disaster Life Support® course (eCDLS®).  Funded by the Department of Homeland Security, eCDLS® is an awareness level, all-hazards course for all potential health system responders.  The 4-hour course comprises nine modules, a pre-test, and a post-test. This course is also available at no charge at: http://www.ncbrt.lsu.edu/elearn.
