The Washoe County MRC unit offers free CPR/First Aid classes every month in the Central Conference Room, Bldg. "C" at the County Complex, 1001 E. 9th St., Reno, as follows:
--April 8, 2010 from 8:30 AM to 11 AM
--May 25, 2010 from 8:30 AM to 11 AM

Core Disaster Life Support - online course available.   This course is highly recommended for MRC volunteers and offers free CMEs and CEUs. 
The AMA and National Disaster Life Support Foundation, Inc. announce the release of a new Electronic Core Disaster Life Support® course (eCDLS®).  Funded by the Department of Homeland Security, eCDLS® is an awareness level, all-hazards course for all potential health system responders.  The 4-hour course comprises nine modules, a pre-test, and a post-test. This course is also available at no charge at: http://www.ncbrt.lsu.edu/elearn.
